Quick soup in 45 mins

 How I make soup in 45 mins?

Ingredients:

Wintermelon, 2 or 3 cloves of garlic chopped, 4 pre-soaked mushrooms(slice them into smaller pieces)

2 strips of  Huai Shan Pian

Preparation:

Tips:
I stir fry the garlic, ginger and mushroom in my Hitachi fuzzy cooker
                               and let it be on rapid steam mode while I prepare the wintermelon.


1) Cut the wintermelon as shown:

Cut into half and remove the center core

Cut into 4 sections

Cut each section into half and cut off the skin.
Repeat this till all the skin is removed.

Cut them into smaller chunks

End cut result



2) Pour the winter melon into the Hitachi Fuzzy Cooker




3) Pour water inside the cooker until it covers all the ingredient inside








4) Turn it to slow cook mode for preset One Hour. Turn on the timer to 30 mins for cooking time else the winter melon would be too soft and might  look disintegrated.

5) Serve with warm rice.
